A federal district court ruled that UC's can deny course credit to students from Christian high schools that use textbooks which teach that the Bible is infallible and reject creationism.

I think what I like about this decision is that it strikes a blow for freedom. Parents can choose to teach their children as they see fit. However, the UC's can choose to set their admission requirements as they see fit.
