I just read a really interesting post over at the TeachPaperless blog. If you have an extra moment, I'd suggest perusing it as a reminder of the big picture.
I would add that I am once again grateful that I am free to encourage my sons daily to analyze and reason, rather than feeling some necessity to "teach to the test."
